Dr. Ir. Fikrinda, M.Si completed her undergraduate degree (S1) in Soil Science at Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh, then continued her master’s degree (S2) in Soil Science at Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), Bogor. Subsequently, he earned his doctoral degree (S3) in the Agricultural Science Study Program at Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh. With a consistent academic background in soil science, he is actively involved in research, teaching, and community service related to soil science, covering aspects of soil fertility, land management, and its role in supporting agricultural sustainability and natural resource management.

Dr. Ir. Fikrinda, M.Si. specializes in sustainable agriculture and soil health, focusing on improving soil fertility and plant growth using organic fertilizers like vermicompost, biochar, and bio-based amendments. Their research explores the role of beneficial microorganisms, such as arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, in enhancing nutrient availability and soil quality, particularly in tropical soils like Ultisols and Inceptisols. Dr. Ir. Fikrinda, M.Si. also studies the ecological value of non-timber forest products and the biodiversity of mangrove ecosystems. Their work aims to promote sustainable farming practices, improve crop yields, and contribute to environmental conservation, with a focus on practical solutions for tropical agriculture
