Prof. Dr. Ir. Jauharlina, M.Sc. earned her bachelor’s degree (S1) in Plant Pests and Diseases at the Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), Bogor. She then continued her master’s degree (S2) at the University of Guelph, Canada, majoring in Environmental Biology. To further deepen her expertise, she earned her doctoral degree (S3) at the University of Leeds, United Kingdom, focusing on the field of Biology. With her diverse and in-depth educational background, she has expertise in biology, plant protection, and the environment, and is actively developing research that contributes to the advancement of science and the sustainable management of biological resources.

Prof. Dr. Ir. Jauharlina, M. Sc is a researcher focused on sustainable agriculture, pest management, and soil health in Indonesia. Their work explores the use of biological agents like Trichoderma yunnanense for organic waste conversion and the application of organic fertilizers such as vermicompost and biochar to improve soil health. They also study the impact of shade tree density on pest dynamics in coffee plantations and the roles of pollinators and other insects in agriculture.

Prof. Dr. Ir. Jauharlina, M. Sc has contributed to understanding the genetic history and migration of the Asian honey bee (Apis cerana) in Sumatra and its relationship with other species. Their research aims to enhance sustainable farming practices, improve pest control strategies, and support eco-friendly agricultural technologies, ultimately contributing to more resilient and productive agricultural systems.
