Alfi Laila Zuhriansah, M.Si. is an academic and researcher in the field of forestry who focuses on issues of ethnobotany, forest ecology, and environmental conservation. Her research includes the identification of key variables in the use of ethnobotanical medicinal plants in the Limau Unit VII Hulu Sarolangun Forest Management Unit, which demonstrates her concern for the integration of traditional knowledge and sustainable forest management. In addition, she is also actively researching the potential for climate change mitigation through studies estimating carbon reserves in fast-growing species in the reclamation area of West Aceh Regency, as well as vegetation analysis and carbon storage in mature natural forests in Bener Meriah. Not only that, Alfi Laila also contributes to coastal ecosystem conservation efforts through mangrove planting research in the Lampulo Mangrove Park Area, Banda Aceh, which aims to save the coastal environment and support adaptation to climate change. Through her work, she plays a role in developing forestry science that holistically connects ecological, social, and conservation aspects.
