Dr. Ir. Gina Erida, M.Si is actively researching in the fields of agricultural science and plant ecology, focusing on weed management, natural bioherbicides, forest conservation, and increasing sustainable agricultural productivity. Some of her works include research on the herbicidal activity of Ageratum conyzoides L. against Amaranthus spinosus L. weeds along with the GC-MS profile of n-hexane extracts, as well as the effect of babadotan methanol extracts on the growth of various types of weeds as an environmentally friendly control alternative. In addition, he contributed to research on forest stand identification in the Geumpang Protected Forest Area, Pidie, Aceh, as well as salinity stress mitigation in rice through compost application, demonstrating his competence in integrating plant ecology, forestry, and agricultural cultivation to support sustainable natural resource management.
