Iqbar, S.Si., M.Sc. complete undergraduate education (S1) in the Study Program Biology Of Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh. He then continued his master’s education (S2) at Georg August University of Göttingen, Germany with a focus on the field Forestry, which broadened his knowledge and expertise in natural resource management. He then pursued a doctoral degree (S3) at Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh on the field Mathematics, which strengthens analytical, modeling, and quantitative research approaches. With this multidisciplinary educational background, Iqbar has unique competencies in integrating biology, forestry, and mathematics to support research and development of science in the field of environment and biological resources.

Muhammad Rusdi, S.P, M.Si, Ph.D is a researcher focused on environmental science, urban planning, and sustainable land use in Aceh, Indonesia. Their work covers a wide range of areas, including transportation, agriculture, coastal management, and conservation.

In transportation, Muhammad Rusdi, S.P, M.Si, Ph.D studies urban traffic flow, specifically optimizing the performance of pretimed signalized intersections. In agriculture, they use remote sensing technologies to monitor rice growth and assess droughts, as well as explore land suitability for livestock farming, particularly Aceh cattle.

Muhammad Rusdi, S.P, M.Si, Ph.D also conducts research on coastal issues, such as seawater intrusion and the vulnerability of Aceh’s west coast. They apply GIS and spatial modeling to support conservation efforts, including mapping areas for mangrove protection and developing zoning plans for marine conservation.
