Ria Astuti, S.Hut., M.Si. is an academic and researcher in the field of forestry who focuses on studies of carbon reserve potential, land rehabilitation, and sustainable natural resource management. Her research includes estimating the carbon potential of fast-growing species in the reclamation area of West Aceh Regency, as well as various studies in Central Kalimantan, including the carbon sequestration potential of rehabilitated land in Gunung Mas Regency and community forests in the same area. In addition to focusing on climate change mitigation through carbon stock management, he is also involved in applied research related to agricultural sector development, including a study on the implementation of the Special Effort (UPSUS) for Sustainable Food Self-Sufficiency program in Kendal Regency, Central Java Province. Thus, his work contributes to supporting environmental sustainability and community development through a cross-sectoral approach.
