Yosie Syadza Kusuma, S.Hut., M.Si. is an academic and forestry researcher who focuses on conservation, forest ecology, and sustainable development issues. Her research covers strategic topics such as conflict resolution between humans and wildlife, highlighting the importance of harmonizing human interaction and biodiversity. She also explores aspects of ecology and climate change mitigation through research on the carbon sequestration potential of fast-growing species in the reclamation area of West Aceh and ecological studies of Scaphium macropodum in the production forest area of Sarolangun, Jambi.
